Guidelines for Reviewers: Evaluation of Research Articles and Books for UniqDelve Publications

Reviewing Research Articles:

  • Confidentiality:  Treat all manuscripts as confidential documents. Do not discuss, reproduce, or share information from the manuscript without explicit permission.
  • Timeliness:  Promptly inform the editorial team if you are unable to meet the assigned review deadline. Timely reviews are essential for maintaining an efficient publication process.
  • Constructive Feedback:  Provide constructive and detailed feedback to help authors improve the quality of their work. Offer specific comments on methodology, results, and interpretation.
  • Ethical Considerations:  Identify any ethical concerns, such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or conflicts of interest. Report any potential ethical issues to the editorial team.
  • Recommendation:  Clearly state your recommendation for acceptance, revision, or rejection. Provide a justification for your decision based on the manuscript’s merits.
  • Citations:  If relevant, suggest additional literature or references that may enhance the manuscript’s scholarly context.
  • Reviewer Comments:  Include a separate section in your review for confidential comments to the editorial team. Provide insights into the manuscript’s strengths and weaknesses.

 Reviewing Book Proposals and Manuscripts:

  • Confidentiality:  Maintain confidentiality when reviewing book proposals and manuscripts. Avoid discussing or sharing information about the work without explicit permission.
